Press Release
Majority of San Francisco
taxi companies choose Raywood SnapShot® Cameras for increased
security
Seattle, WA, May 27, 2003 - Raywood Communications, the pioneer
of in-vehicle digital, security cameras for the taxi industry, today
announced that out of the 20 taxi cab companies serving the city
and county of San Francisco, drivers from over 15 companies have
selected the Raywood SnapShot® cameras to increase their security.
As a result of the spring 2002 mandate that all vehicles be equipped
with a security camera, the Raywood SnapShot was approved by the
San Francisco Taxi Association. Each taxi company has the opportunity
to select a vendor from the "approved vendor" list. Drivers
from American Cab, Town Taxi, Regents Cab, Big Dog City, Bay Cab,
United Cabs, Luxor and National, to name a few, have purchased the
Raywood SnapShot® camera.
"The Raywood cameras are easy to install and they operate
automatically. Plus the image quality is outstanding. Images from
Raywood cameras have never been questioned in court proceedings.
Raywood cameras are really the best money can buy" said
Ms. Linda Danzing from National Taxi Cab Supply, the local SnapShot
distributor for the Bay Area.
"We are delighted that SnapShot® cameras have been
selected by so many taxi companies in San Francisco," said
Executive Vice President, Mr. Doug Anderson. "We would like
to think that the intelligent choice is our product, but these results
are also a direct result of the excellent service and customer support
provided locally by National Taxicab Supply" continued
Mr. Anderson.
