Emerging Exporter Award - 2001 Commendation

Raywood was presented with a commendation in the "Emerging Exporter" section of the 2001 Governor of Victoria Export Awards at a gala presentation night held in Melbourne.

The Governor of Victoria, Mr. John Landy AC, MBE presented CEO Graeme Taylor with the award last Friday night at Government House Melbourne.

Taxi industries around the world are embracing this technology as a proven driver-safety system, and installations now include most Australian states, over ten states in the USA, three provinces in Canada, and also France and the UK.

The 10,000th SnapShot camera was recently sold as part of an 800-unit order from the Greater Houston Transportation Company.

Many jurisdictions report over 65 per cent reduction in driver assaults after the installation of cameras, indicating that this Australian designed and developed technology is proving a significant contributor to driver safety.
